Bottlecup is crafted using 18/8 stainless steel and food-grade silicone. And that's it! No hidden plastic linings or lids! Both stainless steel and silicone are extremely durable making your Bottlecup last a very long time! Silicone is inert so it won’t leach into your drink.

From the very beginning, we set out to create a 100% plastic-free water bottle and coffee cup. Why? Because plastic isn't great for the environment or our health. Plastics from clothing, packaging, homewares and disposables are now part of our environment, the air we breath and even in our bodies. At the time of writing, it is estimated there is 1 credit card worth of plastic inside each of our bodies. 

Plastic often breaks easily and when it does, it is usually down-cycled instead of recycled, meaning it ends up as waste much sooner than we'd like. In the environment, plastic breaks down creating micro-plastics which can end up in our food chains and harm wildlife. 

Plastics also contain chemical additives, a number of which have been associated with serious health concerns. And we really don't want those leaching into your favourite on-the-go hot drink!

We’ve designed Bottlecup to last a lifetime. We believe in our product so much that we’ve added a lifetime warranty for good measure. Items that are built to last and used regularly use fewer resources per use than those made for single use or limited lifespans.

Bottlecup is modular allowing you to replace a single component if needed, rather than the whole Bottlecup extending life even further.

We considered end of life at the very beginning. Each component part of Bottlecup is made of a single material that is durable and recyclable. There are no mixed materials ensuring each part is easily recycled at end of life. We understand that silicone recycling is currently limited, so to help close-the-loop, we encourage you to return any silicone parts to us to ensure they are recycled at the end of their useful life.

We love using reusables, but we didn't love carrying so many, or having to remember them all the time. Dang it, I forgot my coffee cup again!

We designed Bottlecup so that we only need to remember and carry one item, helping to reduce coffee cup anxiety and single use in one! Win win!

We envisage a future where single use disposable waste is no longer part of everyday life. We believe in creating solutions that make life a little easier, bring joy and do good.

We believe simple changes add up over time into something much bigger. Small actions of many are much more powerful than the perfect actions of a few. Each time you choose to reuse you’re saving a single use item from going to waste and voting for a world less throwaway.
